Cervical Cancer Screening Program 2019- Rasuwa District
Australian Cervical Cancer Foundation (ACCF)has purposed screening camp at Rasuwa District. The project aimed to minimize Cervical Cancer among the women of Rasuwa District. Rasuwa District is geographically located at Mountain region. Most of the people are from Tamang community. Most of them used to speak Tamang language. In Rasuwa district, according to National Population and Housing Census 2011, the total numbers of women population are 21,825. Among them 10,070 women were targeted age group (20-60). This year, NNCTR/NACCF with the support of AACCF, has organized Cervical Cancer Screening and Prevention Program at three different communities of Rasuwa District in collaboration with Naukunda Rural Municipality Ward no. 1 and 6 and Kalika Rural Municipality Ward no. 2.
Prior to the screening camps NNCTR/NACCF run orientation programs at three different communities of Rasuwa District namely, Lokil Village, Aarukharka and Ramche from 29th Sep to 1st Oct, 2019. In the program, women participation was remarkable. Women had come from different areas from far and near. More than 100 women did participate in the awareness program and they were informed the importance of early detection and prevention of cervical and breast cancer. Women have surely gained the knowledge on Cervical and Breast Cancer Screening and Prevention. So that, those women can disseminate their knowledge to other women and their relatives. NNCTR/NACCF has distributed some snacks to the participants of the awareness program.
A total of 295 women were screened for cervical cancer. Of these women 18(6.10%) were found positive in the screening test. Out of 18, 14 (4.74%) women having positive cases were given Thermocoagulation treatment on the camp site and were call for follow up test after six month. There were also 60 (20.33%) women having STI and 119 (40.33%) were with major complain. They were given free medication in the camp. Uterus prolapse was detected in 9 (3.05%) women. Among 9, 4 women were referred to Scheer Memorial hospital for free surgical treatment. One patient from NNCTR/NACCF Health Clinic who was came from Roshi, also benefited from the free surgical treatment program. The surgical treatment was done in collaboration with Scheer Memorial Hospital.

NNCTR/NACCF Health Clinic 2019
This year (2019) NNCTR/ NACCF Health Clinic is running once a week VIA screening every Tuesday. We are expanding our awareness activities at community level. Our advertisement through local media and newspaper is still going on. It is helping in creating awareness in the community. The clinic has, this year served 496 women. Among them 139 were found VIA positive, 108 women have sexual transmitted infections (STI) and 5 have 2nd degree uterus prolapse. Among 139 women, 125 were given Thermocoagulation treatment and they were called for follow up visit after 6 months, all the women having STI were prescribed for necessary medication and 5 women were given ring pessary treatment for the prolapse.

Cervical Cancer Awareness Week 2019
Cervical cancer awareness week of 2019 is celebrated in different communities of two different communities of Banepa Municipality and the Nauling health post of Sindhupalchowk district from 11th to 17th November, 2019 by NNCTR/NACCF. At Sindhupalchowk, the program was coordinated by BBP pariwar, Kavre. And at the Kavre, Banepa Municipality the program was coordinated by Banepa Municipality, Banepa Mahila Bikash Kendra, Chandeswori Mahila Samuha and other women community members. The program was celebrated through different activities like, community awareness and interaction program on cervical cancer, cervical cancer screening (VIA Test) program, orange ribbon and hand band distribution and orange nail painting to the women who participated on the orientation and screening camp. In orientation program, more than 324 women had participated. Banepa Municipality ward chairman and Health unit staff were also present.

TOT On Cervical Cancer Screening program 2019
One week Training of trainer (TOT) on Cervical Cancer Screening has conducted at NNCTR Trainig Center, Banepa by National Health Training Center,Teku. The lead trainers of training program were Dr. Meeta Singh, TUTH and Dr. Sheela Varma. And Co- trainer was Ms. Rupa Karmacharya. Total participants are 12 in number. The participants were came from different district of Nepal. The closing ceremony program of training was visited by Mr. Mohammad Daud, the director of NHTC and Dr. Surendra Bahadur Bade Shrestha, chairman of NNCTR/NACCF.

Conservative Management Training on Pelvic Organ Prolapse (POP)2019
Conservative management training on POP has conducted at NNCTR Training Center,Banepa by Health Office of Dhulikhel, Kavre for four groups. The Programs are visited by Dr. Narendra Kumar Jha, director of District Health Office, Dhulikhel and Dr. Surendra Bahadur Bade Shrestha, chairman of NNCTR/NACCF.
